OH GUYS BTW SSS IS EXPECTING her CS update today. ..........PRAYERS fellas! And abt. JAIDE my poor baby has been down with TYPHOID so no test for her and slot gone!!!!!!!!!!! SO prayers again. Get better soon. Little sis! we are all waiting for u!

Nice to see you . REGUARDING YOUR CS ..........
Best wishes, GL on CS,... some said, as long hair , we lady should make it tie back or neat way on CS, interview . Also do not wear uncomfy high heel shoes, but no runner, still need good professional Dr shoes, leather or look with good to walk, i will say black leather moccasin// spelling from sears, by Jessica has good sole, cushion, support, light, can run with that when on black or beige light color anklet or knee high lady penty hose texture material .
Also no short skirt , low neck blouse , will not be professional .
All are tips from kap , friends done CS test , passed , all friends are from like you friends from same country .
Do put face on, not extreme . No strong perfume .
Read info at door, write down vital, name in big letter, your prelimi DDx, Dx, may be short forms for Q , exm to do , ask.
Deep breath in , out then smile, Knock on door loud 2 times, hand shake if pt ok, not in pain, always eye contact , knob head or say hmm hmm , give drape asap in rm, introduce self, also call pt's name with Mr etc., eye contacts, speak loud clear not too slow, not v. fast, but do quick as normal, time is just enough, smile all gtime if appropriate. Do focus hx, ph exm, do social etc quick or later, if time call 1st warning, do all important hx, to phy exm if still need , if done , should be, do closing by call of time warning. Not done time up, say get page , will be back asap, say bye, shake hand , out sit do writing all done, not things have not done.
No short form in Dx, most possible Dx at no. 1 to less possible, then investigation , then cc : HOPI , relavent only... past med Hx, family , Phy exm positive, negative significant , then have time fill in social , hx etc non sinificant one. Done in 7 min or 5 min writing.
Always speak loud, sweet clear as you do on line with us sis, all the best, GOOD LUCK , hope me not too late to post this, cause your exm plan in July I thought, or at least may be this coming Monday . Need me to walk through the general thing IM or skype me, if home at desk will answer, will home mostly,but not week end .
Alcoholism, psyciatry, abuse ... need councelling. CAGE Q , positive etc for alcoholism, like eye opener means drink when wake up ,that cage positive enough, no need to ask more cage Q, check out kap, I think I am right though , ask sss if in doubt.
Best is train with her at least few cases, or one day , best to practice is with some one already passed or sit CS already .
If finish v. early , do not rush out, make sure all done, as soon as out of door & close the door , you're out again, cannot, not allow to go back in , so still at door way or open the door way out, b4 shut the door & you are still have time, need to ask or back in do physical , go for it. But still in time frame, so proctor will not come tell you.
In doupt write full , not short form, but even though , no time do short form except Dx DDx[ even can do short if no time , my 2 cents this one] , all are read mark by real DR. So everage, readable hand writing if cannot do better , do as you can .
re.. SP... Every mood, move, speak, Q , Ans , any word sp say are meaningful. Some time, not know real exm, but our course, they are real sp from hospital, say Dr. Do you really need to do this ? what are you doing? what is this for ? ..... means usally especially if they repeat Q or rufuse alot, you're in wrong path. But still can be that .... they try your professional Dr's ability to handle tough case , so go with eye contact , your instinct .
ASK... Ask permission to untie the goung, tie back for it.
Tell ...what are you doing in phy exm, ... now I'm going to tap [ percussion], press[ palpation ], press abit more [ deep palpation] your tummy, not abdoman etc.
Listen your chest, heart etc. Look at , check your ear, eye , strength .
Ok, you might have all studied , I just chip in, if already too much please " ignore " all here.
I will copy paste this to my site or link , so i will know by my CS time.
What can I say, with hot summer , I already give up my long hair to short for me, but still mid length for others , so short hair , but not so short short hair for.. study well , cause long one take my time alot in so many ways .

I tried to figure why I havent studied consistently all of last year and figured I am a morningperson when I am at work and then when I am tired at the end of the day I try to hit my books. So talked to my sweet boss who agreed I can come on an afternoon shift..........Oooooooooooooo hoooooooooo- why didnt I think of it earlier - I am writing a grant this month - so from July it is me and STEP1!
Love you guys keep me in your prayers....

so nice to hear from focus, mytime, target and KG after a loooong time.
novak: i would seriously suggest that one reading is not enough. by the time u reach the end of micro - u would have forgotten the beginning, let alone remember other subjects, unless of course if u have an elephant's memory. the material is all very volatile and that is why multiple readings with tons of Qs is mandatory. i'm not trying to discourage u, but don't rush into this exam.
focus: all the very best for ur exam. i'm sure u'll do exceedingly well, considering the amount of hard work u r putting in. same goes for indi and all the others who are close to their exam.
mytime: wish u loads of luck for your CS. u'll do great - be confident and show the SP your whip.......... 
i was very shocked to hear about jaide - poor thing - i hope she is feeling better.
target - very good decision! i'm just like u - i can perform optimally in the day time (all of which is spent at work). unfortunately, my boss is not half as accomodating as yours. good luck to u babe. my prayers are with u.

Lucky home mostly b4 back to busy days.
St 1 , st 2, Cs , st3 ok ok all read or not,
Now....
....st 1... papi as usual over & over with audio , but audio done at least one or more, books not now, will be later, but had b4, not all .
....St 1 in general ....will start over ... kaplan , Hy anatomy in embryo , histo, gross in mid July or early, remember July 1st 2 or 3 week relatives coming here from out of country , not see for long ago, my favorite too. So will be mostly with papi, web prep i pod when vacationing with them on week end, few week days.
Target , aim, U ... you can do all over again with me as if you like .But 1st 2 -3 week will be not much , cause of vacation, can I do that, yes I can , imitate papi .
Will do IM few chpt in the st 1 study too .
My Qs will be chpt end kap, BRS some , then subj end Q book, then UW , kap Qbank etc.

You see I am suppose to be off since noon, but me post here now, poor me, you know why, then , post your status , study................... b4 poor me like me
Now I am thinking post on Friday , instead of Sunday or 2 of them inter changeble, with Wednesday post for sure.

Hi everyone!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, either full steam studying or with family in a much deserved break!
For me today was a grocery, kitchen cleaning, 3 loads of clothes in machine wash etc day. so it was kind of like a break from studying but I didn't enjoy it.
Aim99.....thank you thank you for your advice, I certainly wish I would have the time to give it 2 or 3 readings, I won't do the exam until my NBME is a high score, if come August I do it and I fail NBME then I will extend my date.

Finish Micro June 26th.
Immunology June 27 to July 3rd
Anatomy, Histo, Embryo, July 4 to July 15th
Neuroanatomy July 16th to 21st
Physiology July 22 to July 31st
Pharmacology August 1 to 7
Pathology August 8 to 21
Behavioral Science August 22 to 26
REVIEW, FA August 27 to 30
EXAM DAY August 31st!
SOURCE OF QUESTIONS:
I will try to buy a q bank, not sure wich yet, not sure if I am going to be able to afford it. I have an old NMLS Review book (2001), and I have downloaded some questions banks from internet.

I hope I can take off 15 days off this schedule so that I can exam on August 15th, but I guess it is difficult, I am planning to read LN, video, and FA on each subject.
Like I mentioned before, I know it is only first read but I am doing it slowly, and I am trying to making it count, I will not commit test suicide, I will do NBME test before exam and if I am not ready I will pospone exam, although in my dreams and imagination I wish I could do the exam on the 31st of July, but I know it is quite impossible, because I don't just want to pass the exam I want to ace it, so I am going to see how it goes.
I need to STICK to this proposed schedule because I only asked JUNE and JULY off work, I guess and I think I could maybe take AUGUST off too, not sure, if not, I could maybe go back for a couple of weeks, ask for less days, and if it doesn't workout I am prepared to quite my job if necessary, right now USMLE is my priority! (Of course, I will keep my job at the university, this one I can't quit because it will be my only source of income and it gives me medical insurance).

HI ALL FRIENDS ,
It is the good time to start pray for MT 's CS on tomorrow.
So let's pray from now till CS done on tmr whole day , since not know exact what time it will done, so lets's pray on today & tomorrow .
GOOD LUCK MT , to have good CS day with passing high bars.
NV ,
with good 1st thorough read with FT study, 2nd or later read will be v. easy with or without jobs .
But 2 jobs with study, it is abit hard, but may be, but may be not doable especially if we're looking for high marks. Still doable depends on nature of job , your strenght , stamina & , all just in our willingness & hard work & luck too.
But do not over do to burn out health, soul, family life , families, jobs, career .
Rest of us study hard, have a good week ahead,

I threw them both out of the apt. their constant whining was driving me nuts................so i'm quickly going thru last mt stuff coz another couple of hrs. and my books close and i go party.

[size=1]I hope to finish Immunology by Thursday . I am not sure how much I can read while kids are home for the summer. There are so many outdoor activities going on due to vacations that I feel totally drained out and cannot concentrate on my study. I have to spend a lot of time with kids outside the house in my effort to keep them away from TV and computer . I carry my book with me where ever I go but hardly read anything  .
