hi everyone, just to assure you guys that i have not gone on AWOL again, normally pop into the site when am getting really bored with my books, by the time i go through the posts i actually get myself stimulated once more and this drives me to pick up my book,thanks guys.
ok so am through with physiology and have started my neuro anatomy today, tried going through the high yield but in between saw myself dancing between high yeild and kaplan,just trying to get a better grasp of the whole thing as this seems to be one of my weak areas,thanks mytime for your suggestions on how i should go about it, will sure call on you when am through with the 1st 35 pages, that should be tomorrow i guess.
meanwhile mytime,ok so this aint the sun anymore wot do you suggest we call this, never seen a blue sun till i started studying for usmle
anmelia,thanks for the tip on usmleworld,will sure keep it in mind especially as am anout to finish my 1st read, sure have you and proctalgia in my prayers, you guys should make us proud.
indidoc,you sure made me want to pick up my golgan audio and listen to it, with the way you talked about it, you made it so tempting, had to use the last strength in me to stop myself from doing that at least until am through with my neuro.
zenith,thanks for the encouragement,i aam trying my best to take care of US,and will keep doing that.

ok... my way of doing path..kaplan lect..then notes+ BRS .. then goljan audio+notes
ws taking waaayyyyyyyy too much time.. ..something i don't have.
So i have decided to drop Mr.Beverly hills n his notes..
Using BRS n Goljan only now.
Revising metabolisms in my spare time ..
Doing inflammation..
So u cn say i m kinda mixing 2nd read of biochem wth 1st read pathophysio n n will be throwing in pharma next.... A MESS I M IN  .. but at least i m getting somewhere.

okay guys - was FINALLY able to open that file - mytime was right - I had not installed lizardtech. with the help of an IT friend, i was finally successful. but i definitely have to give it to YOU guys for ALL your help. it was so amazing how everyone came fwd to help, so willingly. i'm so glad to be a part of this cute little family. thanks mytime, indi and nnl - but i'm so sorry, i couldn't open yahoo msg from work yesterday. and mytime, u are right, having ALL the books in the world will not help if i don't study..........
nnl, sorry i haven't read Path yet, so don't know how much i can answer.

I am keeping myself away from Goljan stuff yet but will get back to it once sufficiently know the stuff you mentioned.
For me Robbins it is for the time being. It is taking really long but I guess it is worth it.

Hi everyone
I have started revision of metabolisms to gear up fr the G man.. Am abt to finish carbohydrates n will be starting lipids in the evening.. But guess what guys ..MISSING LECTS AGAIN
I don't have lects fr lipid catabolism, amino acid & purine n pyrimidine metabolisms..The KAPLAN biochem lects r gr8 n i have been able to understand biochem fr the 1st time in my life thanks to them..
So, u cn understand my desperation..n i have exhausted all my sources.. Please.. can anyone of u help me out?
If u have videos.. i understand they r big files..
So here's a software to convert them to audios..that ll drastically decrease the size..

It allows u to convert 5 files fr free... n thats what i need..lects 24 to 29.. Lipid mobilisation n catabolism,amino acid metbolism and purine +pyrimidine metabolism

If u do decide to upload/transfer n have trouble in doing that....I'll be coming online again abt 4-5 hours frm now..

INDI time maat waste maat ker lectures of biochem what do u have to do with goljan! Read Kaplan..... u are meant to do biochem from there and lippincott.

I m not wasting time yaar... Trust me... Kaplan biochem lects by Dr. lionel raymon have been nearly as useful to me as goljan audios... They help in understanding biochem..which i always hated thinking its rote memorisation..
U don't need lippincott if u listen to the lects..

I m looking fr KAPLAN BIOCHEM LECTS.. audios to decrease upload size n save time..
fr 3 topics..
Chap-16 lipid mobilisation and catabolism.. (have the 46 minute lect on lipoproteins.. not after that)
Chap-17 amino acid metabolism
Chap-18 Purine and pyrimidine metabolism.
I hope someone hs them n cn help me out..
If not.. no probs.. maybe i ll have to just drag along the text

Indi , I have the lectures but as you know I am a computer illiterate 
If you can wait for a few hours until my husband comes back from the hospital , I can ask him to do it for you.

Thank you so much for your rapid post, it eased my nervousness, and now to answer your questions...yes, I did felt pain during the sclerotherapy I guess there was extravasation of the sclerosant during the injection. I didn't have edema or other more severe symptoms so I think like you wrote it is only superficial thromboplebitis, I am taking NSAIDs and wearing compression pantyhose.
The duplex US only showed reflux in femoral and small reflux in saphenous vein...I have to loose weight
I am feelling better, the leg stil hurts but everyday is less!
Mytime, jaja glad to see nothing happened in your trip, I am happy you are stil around, I need your whip, jeje, and you are right I don't think the test will let me off that easy, jeje.

Indi, right now I am transfering my videos dvd's from my brother's computer to mine, so that I can save them in Cd's, becasue my compter doesn't read DVD's, so I must have the ones you are looking for, in a couple of hours I am going to have access to my brother's computer and I will try to upload them and paste the link here.
I will let you know if I have problems uploading them, but I think I can, I remembered I've done that before in my journal, a long time ago.

Oh , so I forgot to put my progress.
Well, today I am going to spend it trying to clean my room, if my leg let's me, but it will, so I want to put all my books in order and clean and sweap so that everything is nice and neat and I will feel comfortable reading and studying in my room
I will finish copying all my dvd's to cd's for the lectures.
I have to study for class tomorrow, I promised my students a quick review, so I will take some time to do this, so I will have all Monday to re-start biochem chapter 6 where I left it.
On Tuesday is back to work, so hopefully I will stick to my schedule of studying intensely after work, and leaving work behind once I get home.
Again thanks to everyone your support means the world to me!
