Ok... since i hd done ths well in MBBS.. i hv some suggestions n a few Qs...
1- Did the pain start immediately after sclerotherapy? n it ws severe n shooting down below the injection level?
I doubt that this would be the case but if its so... the silly doc hs injected sclerosant into an artery..Check ur foot fr numbness,pallorn dec temp.. If u suspect arterial compromise, Go see a vascular surgeon pronto... n sue the doc who did sclerotherapy.. The settlement ll pay fr all ur MLE steps 
2- Was DVT ruled out by duplex before sclerotherapy?
Again i doubt any doc would omit that step coz its a contra indication... But if it wasn't .. sue him n get ur steps financed 
Ok... now to the more likely n less alarming scenarios...
1- If the black things r clearly visible, n hurt on palpation.. its just superficial thrombophebitis.. a common complication of sclerotherapy... take antibiotics n NSAIDs..
AND AND AND... U MUST WALK!!>. it ll be painful but prevent any spread of clot to deep veins... WALK WALK WALK
If the pain trouble too much,elevation of the limb will help.
2- DVT is not common after sclerotherapy... stop being so hysterical.. just walk n keep the elastic bandage on....
3- Just to be on the safe side.. get the lumbar hernia evaluated.. u know very well that hernia's a ticking time bomb.. So get it cured while the treatment is simple n there r no complications..
Thats all i cn remember at the moment... will tell u if i think of anything else.

oh yess.. i remembered another thing..
He wants to wait fr 2 weeks bcoz superficial thrombophlebitis usually resolves by then.. We don't want to cut u n give u new wounds to serve as infection sites.. do we?

ok.. now fr my progress..
Started gen path.. nearly done wth cell injury..
1st, i listened to Kaplan lect.. Dr. Barone explains slides well.. not much except that..
BTW.. a girl once said to me.. "he's the typical girly kinda sugar boy.. the kind around whose names teenaged girls would draw hearts"
I kinda feel she ws right!!
Anyways.. then i glanced thru kaplan notes... nothing new there.. 
n then it ws THE G MAN!! Good integration, nice presentation.. kinda wastes a lil time in praising his material (maybe true ) but a nice investment in time..
Finally, went over his notes n BRS.. n if i can't solve a cell injury Q after that... i guess i never will
onto inflammation then

Well, valentine's day may be a hallmark card made festival but it did act as a reunion fr the group.. Nearly everyone posted.. Good to see n we even had a hi frm coolsuch

Guys.....am glad u appericiate what i wrote but there's a deeper hidden meaning behind it , plz. grasp that and stick it in ur heads like mad..everyday remember it! Will get us somewhere! Also it meant that even now if u all don't listen then i'll come to ur places and give u personally whipping! It was V's day so i kept it under cover of words!!!!!!!!!!   I am mad at everyone including me........ we all need to gear up to the 4th one at least. Increase speed, it's exhilarating! Enjoy the ride pals!!! Enjoy it!
NOVAK this is so similar to something that happened to me last year around this time..Lack of ex. and sitting and reading in one place for hrs. and i started having pains like u, thot a warm shower wud help so took one. when i came out i saw my leg veins inflammed and showing! Then i remembered i had been having some chest pain which i had thot was a response to the weather..think what i did next, call the doc but had an anti-inflammatory first and walked like mad..refused to sit down....i thot oh no..i don't wanna die, i still have this stupid thing to clear!!!!! Also I was about to travel to India with my child alone so I was scared that i might die on my way there! 18hrs of flying u see. i went and came back and u know something? Am still here, am sure u'll be around too! Don't think this test will let u off so easy....so take meds and walk like INDI emphasised and bang the docs head! Hope u are feeling better today... Another thing i better go take that shower coz my legs hurting like mad again! Get the fear out by getting it checked again and then get back to genetics.. Write a nice big note on ur prob and post like NNL keeps doing! That's ur immediate task after getting back from the doc's u better not be wrong! We'll read it only from ur paper !

Unfortunately I cannot study for next few days due to some other commitments.
We are having a very bad weather and kids schools were close yesterday and today and this weekend is a long one. Kids will go back to schools on Tuesday. I will resume with my NA on Tuesday. Hopefully you will finish yours by that time. I will try to finish it quickly and then join you and others in patho.
I think unique, indidoc and target are reading Pathology.

ZADE i'm doing the one u mentioned coz it cheaper and has more, i bought it for 6 months.... also i plan to take UW soon. after my 2nd read. The others i know of are USMLERx which is also supposed to be good but FA based. So that's y i chose other 2 too. I like what i'm using and i think FOCUS and TARGET do too. Take care..make use of all the material u havecoz qs. sud be our road to success! G l!

This is a wonderful book. It consists of chapter wise qs , following Robbins.
You do not have to buy it. There are free downloads available , I guess one is in this forum in waqastariq's thread.
