ZEE u worry too much! If there are things u absolutely must get done first, get them out of the way so u can do ur bit! But u can always.........prioritize! what most imp. to u?   Hey i know the ans, do u? And say it aloud everyday to everyone..till all of them and u get it!  Good luck! i'd love to watch that show though!

NL Thanks for the reply. Though I am from Pakistan but I have applied from Gulf. OASIS is showing that they received my papers on Jan 17th as I had posted on Jan 13th. In USMLE Application information it says :
CERTIFICATION OF IDENTIFICATION FORM:
Date received: Jan 17
Processing status: In Process
USMLE EXAMS:
Your most recent USMLE Step 1 application :
Date received: blank
Processing status: waiting for certification of Identification form
What does this mean? They sent me an email on 18th Jan confirming that they have recieved my Certification of Identification form 186. So shall I wait 3 weeks as normally they take that much time after receiving the paper application part of contact them? I think 3 weeks are over too..

well if they have received ur CoIF then it wudnt be long it wud still be best to call them s they will give u the current position of ur Application. Now they have decided that they wont mail u ur Scheduling permit but email u n u can print it from IWA. IWA is normally updated late. U see if u have reapplied earlier like in the past 3 yrs or so they normally give u the sechduling permit asap but if they say they r going to reconfirm ur documents then its gonna take time.

I don't know abt. others buta m trying to finish!!!!!! if this monkey lets me and doesn't keep keep demanding his turn!!!!!!!!!  Am still with path.....have qs to do and physio to look at! y isn't there a crying smiley..now that's a paradox!?
OTHERS what's up and know y u are all avoiding..... u are scared of the qs!
BTW got ANMELIE's and PROCTALGIA"S msg.. they miss everyone but are trying real hard. P. even though he's back home and has other issues to deal with and AN. even though she's away from her darling! Gear up others! If their time is here soon it'll be ours!!!!!!!!

hey guys
hope u all had a nice weekend. sorry 4 not posting earlier. i dont ave internet at home so its harder for me to post.
anyway my progress so far is : i have given up on d kaplan dvd's as dey r taking too long and just doing d lec notes& home study program. only 11 days left now till im supposed to finish d 1st read for path, pharm and micro!!!!
Captain mytime- im really sorry to hear about surya surgery. hope he is ok now. i wil do ENT rotation next year, so dont kno much about ENT, but hope tympanostomy isnt too serious. tell him i sent him hugs & kisses from britian
indidoc- ur fan idea seems cool. i will definitly use it once i start neuroana. neuro ana isnt one of my fav subject,. but have already printed out ur post on aphasia's and keepin it in my neuroana file. thanks 4 dat. (also if u ave time 2 spare, can u take a photo of d fan & upload it, as i wud luv to see ur invention)

hi everyone, hope you all enjoyed the weekend. like i expected my weekends are much slower due to other activites but i did make some progress, finished up my renal physiology today even though am yet to complete the questions at the end of the texts but i hope to do that before i go to bed.
guess another week is here, plan to start with my endocrine physiology tomorrow i know that will take me a couple of days but i sure will let you people in on ma progress.
didnt know that anmelie and proctalgia had their exams so close, was beginnning to wonder why we hadnt heard from them. wow thats something,do wish them goodluck and we should all remember them in our prayers, am sure they will be fine.
drmedstudent, the kaplan dvds are there for better understanding, if you dont have a problem with understanding the texts then you can go without them, but by my own opinion, considering this is your first read you shouldnt be in a hurry to just finish, but to get the concepts and understand,that should be your ggoal, moreover the lectures do a good job in most of their lectures in telling you the more important/high yield areas.

ok.. now fr the action at my end... n it really was action
We had a BIG BIG hail storm on saturday night.. A tree fell on the transformer at the street corner.. BOY!! u should have seen the fireworks... The entire area ws plunged into darkness.. n the only light ws coming frm the explosions at the site.. The whole mass ws reduced to molten goo in 2 minutes
Power ws cut off fr nearly 2 days.. just been restored abt an hour back..
My studies..had a blackout on sunday..  .. Had to take the day off.. kinda family reunion.. So, still not finished respi physio.. I m at cardio n m still trying hard.. But my apologies to the systems group fr not meeting the deadline.. Will work double hard to catch up.
BTW, the mercury hs really taken a plunge here.. Seems like winter's blowing its trumpet b4 retreat.

Sorry my friend...as i told mytime, the fan got switched on n my thalamus n basal ganglia were scattered around the room... Luckily, i ws done studying them by then. I don't think u'll care to see the cortex sitting alone up ther wth some severed tracts hanging out listlesslly.
BTW, should i develop rigidity in extension of legs+flexion of arms? or extension of both?
Ur psych file ws good.. Had read it as a joke but enjoyed listening to it.

Hi all,
First of all focus and mytime thanks for calling me and brightening my week. Others inthe forum who expressed their care and concern - thanks a bunch I feel so blessed.
As you all know my first 10 days (as Zenith says) with Gojan was intruded by a virus. Hopefully we are out of it by now. I think I am alright except witha residual cough and fatigue. Hope to get back to my sweetheart this evening - at work I have a to catch up since I have been out a week!
