Hmm.. its 2 AM here... n i m still awake.. thought i ll catch up on sleep during travelling tomorrow.. i mean .. today(2AM!!)
1st of all... i have a confession to make to mytime,focus n the systems group... I haven't done much respi today I know mytime n focus r gonna burst out growling at me but lemme finish guys...
Couldn't help it.. the 2 last lects of respi physio r missing frm my dvds  
n these days. i have developed a mental block against proceeding without listening to lects 1st.. So there i was...STUCK!!!
Utilized my time in 2 tasks today...
1- Sat down at my pc n compared the contents of my dvds with the full contents list.. quite a few lects r missing in mine.... Made a list of them n m determined to find them in the next few days..
Mol bio(not genetics)... Last 4 chapters..
Biochem.. vitamins,enzymes, lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism,purine n pyrimidine metabolism
Gross Anat- The last one frm H&N.. but i ll need video fr this..
Physio- Lect 18,19-Respi part 4&5
21,22- Renal part 2&3
23-Acid base disturbance
30B-GI physio part 2
Pharma.. 1B,2A,5A,12B to 20A, 23B onwards till the end.
Beh. science... i have 16 lects... Can anyone plz tell me how many r there in total?
So.. there i was.. then i started searching all links fr these...
Found links to Physio,pharma,path n micro immuno.. m downloading them now.. Lets see if they have what i need.
I m still missing the above lects fr biochem,mol bio n the video fr CTs H&N.
N WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW MANY LECTS R THERE FR BEH.SC. IN TOTAL??? I HAVE 16.
Abt my 2nd task... thats the next post.. this one's tooooo long already

ok.. now onto my 2nd task fr the day..
Today, i did something i have wanted to do since my 1st yr in medical.. Do all connections of neuroanat as a model
N do u know how i made it?? it ws soooooo crude..
Used the 3 wings of a fan as 3 lobes of cortex& the stem as occipetal
Pens n markers made up all diff parts of basal ganglia,diencephalon n major nuclei 
Then used red n blue threads(diff colors fr afferents n efferents) n linked them all.. tracing things pathway by pathway
The real thing i gained ws a thorough understanding of the higher centre connections.. i have always been good till brainstem levels.. but beyond..
so.. just kept on doing it... been at it fr 5-6 hours at least n loving neuro at last. Only parietal n temporal lobe connections r left now... came online to shrug off sleep n get a kinda break..
So, Neuro group.. just try to integrate things .. i see u r having some hiccups.. but neuro's not tough once u get the hang of it... Try to visualise things... its just common sense after that.. Trust me
N if u get stuck.. post here guys..However trivial ur prob seems... post it.
I have 2 doubts at this moment.. plz clarify guys..
1- Does MLE expect us to be able to locate hypothalamic nuclei in a figure?? i mean.. thalamus is easy n i know functions n connections of hypothalamic nuclei well.. but never identify them on a figure.
2- Is there any site which has videos showing how to differentiate between chorea,athetosis,choreoathetosis,hemiballismus n dystonias clinically? or cn u post easy, simple ways.. Not the long stretched out descriptive terms seen in texts

m128.. These r not the lecture video DVDs.. These r the audios only.. n i don't have all of them.. they r ok if u have a few missing but if u wanna start frm scratch.. i'd say get the videos.. u cn get them at a low price at ebay or classified parts of various forums... Around $50-80 fr the full set including notes n other bonus feature.. even cheaper if u r in india or pakistan.
If u still insist on downloading these few subjects' audios only.. pm me or post here..

I bought my DVDs from ebay and Anatomy and Pharma are not working and there is GIT missing from Physio. The seller had a 100% rating.

Kamyabi.. as i said b4.. the trick to do NA is... just read n get the hang of it... The 1st coupla days r the toughest ones.. After that .. u ll enjoy it.

Oh INDI SHUT UP ! So that fan is it still up there? If u run it in sometime how will u read it. Cudn't u just easily have done it on paper?  I'm glad u didn't finish that gives me time to catch up. yaar i post pone S's surgery for a few months since his doc. said that we are going into summer and all so if needed after my Step 1 it was totally driving me nuts u know and all i was doing is what all Mom's do so now I can breathe! Abt. the rush hour thingie I think its coz brains like urs are rushing around like crazy at those times!
U. looks like these two guys are itching to help u so plz. let them and when u are at that guys send me the physio lecture as i don't have any! pm me ur yahoo id just incase.
ZADE am glad u got all that u needed! Now study! It was meant to be just a day but u can take 2 since u are figuring out what to do. stay in touch with Kamyabi via pms and support each other through nA we are all here too! Don't forget INDI's fan! I wud suggest that both of u use paper and pencils colored or not and make the same on them then read it and then try making it oagain without looking. I studied NA like iNDI without fans and made notes but have forgotten a lot but looking at those notes it all comes back. And u will definitely love it!
ANMELIE how are things u better keep a look out for INDI's qs.there! Which oh i forgot what i was writing! presenile dementia! i guess! my husband called me to go pick Surya up...Anyone who can drive he since he has the car! GRRRRRRRRR! got to call a cab.

SEEMS actually I sounded so freaked out that they decided I need to wait! I wish I didn't have to make these decision y cudn't he be allowed to do it? What if my choice was wrong! but never mind few more months and then we'll see! I'm still wher I last told u I was but am gonna be up till late so will report later. All this stress really pulled me back. Thank you for ur concern though, I think ur prayers made me make that fone call!

WOW, I leave the thread for a couple of days and theres a lot of new posts!
Mytime, thank you so much for the wonderful advice about studying the first chapters of biochem with genetics, I haven't thought about that and that is what I am going to do, although I already past the 5 day mark, but I think I am only going to need about 2 or 3 days more to finish genetics.
