i know that conversion disorder involves a stressor and somatization involves Multiple body symptoms.

Can any astute doc give the difference between factious disorder, Mauchunhasesn syndrome and hypochondriasis. Thank you

Mauchunhasen syndrome is the most severe form of factitious disorder. These patients are even injure themslves seriously and undergo painful procedures.

In hypochondriasis patient has multiple symptoms but to differ it from somatization disorder:

patients ask to be tested frequently and still they are not convinced easily and remain to believe that they have a serious disease
