You are te phisician aking care of #####, a 35 yo HIV (+). asymptomatic. CD4 <500cells/mcl and viral load of 4000copies/ml. He received his last vaccination at 15. What is te best reccommendation at this point?
A. MMR is not advisable in HIV pts, as it is a live vaccine
B. MMR is not required for HIV (+) pts
C. Lets go ahead and vaccinate you
D. HIV pts respond poorly to MMR
E. MMR is only recommended for children
