i am an img having done ophthalmology n india. i am too keen to do ophthalmology in usa . does anybody know how competitive it is and how to go ahead with it?

its one of the most competitive residencies. there are several posts on this topic. try the search option for competitive residencies on this site. g/l

i searched for it and got the previous threads.. i wanted to know how do those 8%imgs get into it? is it research or observership or anything else? can anybody guide me into it?
