Did any one know when will the new edition of B and W will came out? It was suppose to come out on last day of May. But it is not yet available at amazon

It always comes out later than expected. If your exam is near, do not rely on the new edition

you can see that it is available through lippincoat's website. its still a pocket size book. I am waiting to have a look at the medical book store

The avalilability of the B and W at lippincot website is blank, which i think mean not available, but i have already emailed their customer service and will wait for their reply.

I've checked the Blackwell US (the publisher) website and it says that it'll be available in 4-6 weeks. Please keep us posted if you find any news. Thanks.

Great news, guys! I'm looking right now at B and W, 3rd edition. Some topics are more thorough than in the previous edition and a lot of color and B&W pictures. I bought it from www.lww.com

picked up the new B&W this morning. Don't have the old edition to really compare
Pages are nicer, print seems more legible to me. More color. Photos are integrated into the notes section, so there isn't a stand alone slides section.
More color. I dont know how much added info there is really, but the book seems thicker.

Fot those who lived outside US, the book is also available at Barnes and noble. I'm still waiting for my book. It is also available at amazon but some of them dont deliver internationally.

I got mine today and fonts are really nice and bigger compared to old.
total pages on new - 546
total page on old- ~380
I think the readability is much better due to bigger fonts.
Only regret no side bar to note down your own stuff.
It seems I am going to use this book a lot
