a 45 year old man has had four episodes of involuntary twitching of the right foot following tha last episodes,hehad a tonic-clonic seizure which of the following strutes on the left is the most likely origin of the seizure ? a.-inferior frontal cortex b.-inferior temporal cortex c.-insular cortex d.-primary motor cortex e.-supplementary motor cortex Thank you all

well if you check were the seizues happen most often on the brain that is were it happens

well...its not about where they happen most often... I think it might be supplementary motor area... reason being that it's the nearest to foot area... that was my semi educated guesss I hope somebody can explain it better

Primary motor cortex is a straight forward answer. SMA is a potential DD. However SMA seizures usually occur in sleep and often bilateral with preserved sensorium. b,c options are way off the mark
