hi,
I was filling my application form online ecfmg and I was not able to locate the form 186. where do I get it from? I got the forms 187,344 and 345 but cd not get the 186 as i did not find it. Also is there anything else to be sent? please let me know.

When you finish online application and pay exam fee, Form 186 will appear, Print it.

hi dr_ecv, wanted to know how u filled in the part about the clerkships done ..............what if all that detail is not provided by us?? plzzzz reply ...........i have to fill in the application too

Basically this is what one forum member wrote to me:
"I faced exactly the same delimma and was worried about it to.
I found out that ECFMG doesn't care about it as far are your Step 1 (and for that matter, CK and CS) exam is concerned. It will even send you the orange card before your degree is verified. It's only when you have finished all the steps and apply for ECFMG certification that these things will be checked. However at that time, you can add all these details then.
I just left my clerkships blank because I didn't remember the dates. When I finish my CS, I'll go back to my medical college and sit down with the student affairs people of my college and get all these dates sorted out.
I got my orange card a few days ago, so my application was approved without these clerkships, so don't worry. "
