hi.i received an email on my eras today stating ,
Thank you for your application to the Internal Medicine Residency Programs at XYZ PRGRAM . The Selection Committee has filled all of our allotted interview slots and, unfortunately, we are not able to offer you an interview at this time. However, we maintain a waiting list for each interview date and may contact you in the future if interview slots become available due to cancellations, etc.

sounds like everybody has got the same email ,
but i think if they want to reject a candidate they will just reject him, and if they said they are puting you in a waiting list then you are in a waiting list and they will call you if someone cancels.
