Thanks mufurc and deardoc.I havnt scheduled the i'view date yet as Sinai/JHU offered me a weird set of dates to pick from.First is 9th Nov and then next one is 25th JAN and two another in feb.9th Nov is kinda early for me but 25th Jan sounds too late.I am in a jinx and in this dilemma I am afraid 9th will be taken too.........What do you suggest guys.I'll post this as an open question to everyone and I would appreciate any advice esp. early advice.

if they are still interviewing in feb. i dont see how is a bad idea to go in jan usmle20067.... id rather go there last and very "interview wise" than take the risk of not looking as good as i can be by going there early on the iv season.....i would go on jan if i only had those choices....

I dont know whats happening this week, cause i was under the impression that maybe things would speed up in oct regarding getting interviews....Seems like i tapped the barrel in sep....This month only 2 rejections...I'm hoping that maybe some programs are waiting for the dean's letter...Also i havent heard a thing from patho..is there anyone else in a similar position that has'nt heard from patho??? Well good luck to everyone for the rest of the week, and hey i suppose we should start hearing how people's interviews are coming along soon...

The deadly silence is back again. Although there was activity last week, this week has mainteined an eerie absence of emails... Although my pessimistic side says that after Nov 1 the University programs would start sending out we are sorry emails, i'm still hoping the "we are still reviewing" emails that I have recieved from other programs gets some good news..

hi mty and isther..about Marshfield Clinic..it's a small program(only 6 residents/year), affiliated to UW Madison, nearly all IMGs, about 60% make it to fellowships(there aren't any inhouse fellowships, except in General Internal Medicine)...they give H1 visas, and few prematches too...for a small program, they have a very good research setting and residents get enough time to do electives, etc... good luck

I missed the forum for awhile as things were kind of slow...in the meantime, I got just another interview for Alb Einstein, Montef, NY but I said "pass" as I decided I'm not going to NY I 'm still hoping to hear from the programs in Oregon...could somebody share any info about the status in that state? interview/rej/anything as it's kind of quiet from their part...
