UT mem... just received the invitation. You were right amygdalaa, plis send more positive messages, maybe another invitation can come along. I'm not superstitious but anything goes in these difficult times. 
I predict that tomorrow everybody will recieve an invitation...  if not, at least I am really wishing it to happen.

got rejection from AMH. practically no plan to take STEP3 so....
Hello
We appreciate your interest in a position in the Internal Medicine
Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. Since we now have over 1800
applications for 12 categorical positions we have changed our criteria for applicants who will be considered for an interview. We are now requiring applicants to have USMLE steps 1,2, CS and step 3 with no failures. Steps 1 & 2 must be above90. Step 3 must be above 80.
Your application has been reviewed. A decision as to whether to offer
you an interview has not been made. We will keep your application pending until you notify us that you have passed step 3 with 80 or above. Some interview dates are being held in late January and early February for applicants in your situation.

You can get an invitation for interview by phone. I got my first one before even getting an e-mail. Keep your ears open for the phone, eyes on the screen for e-mail.

I called a few programs today... i gathered the following information
1 - we have not yet satrted reviewing applications - like UPENN/Miton Hershey, Crozer PA and a few more... so that is good news
2- We will send you an invitation in next 2 weeks, if not rcvd, consider yourself rejected - like Danbury CT, Memorial Hosp of RI, Geisinger PA, St Narnabas NJ and NY
3- UIC at Peoria , JHU/ Sinai - said that they will email everyone wether rejected or accepted
So dont lose hope.. there still is time.. October has jsut begun... GL

i checked your link and the Chair for Medicine on the webpage is the same person who will addresss interviewees.. so may be this is their webpage... I had the impression that pennsylvania Hospital of UPENN and pennsylvania hospital are two different programs with the altter one being a community hosp...
