How long have I to wait for a rejection or an interview? I sent my application on September 4th, some programs have downloaded my application but untill now I didn`t recieve any messages or phone calls. No news. Right now I am in doubt for my chances to get a vacancy for an IM residency. My scores Step 1 93, Step 2 99, CS pass, two months observership, clinical researc in my country, ATS travel awards, publications, graduated on 2001. This is a streesfull situation.

galeno -patience will reward you.If you with your credentials do not get any interviews then most people may as well go home and eat chicken. A rat eating a cat looks more plausible to me than you not getting any intvws..And trust me your intvw is round the corner waiting for some compression on the send button .YOu will forever remember this time if you can kill d stress .So please get rid of stress n enjoy this mess

Jaja rat eating a cow...good one laptop... but certainly correct. Most of you people have pretty good credentials, and its still early in the process. Check last year's thread and you'll see that interviews came even in november... The main concern is not to receive anything in your mailbox, but hope that you get your interviews... for that is still very soon.
And even if you got only rejections so far, is no reason to concern yet especially if you applyed to more than 50 programs. If you have the bless of receive 10 invitations, still have to expect 40 rejections... a few rejections means nothing at this point.
So relax people, try not to think about this too much, focus on other projects and your invitation will fall in your lap when you less expect it. Godspeed!!
