Normal Thanks my guess Cuase I thought the V/Q is ventilation (which would stay normal) and Q= perfusion (which would also stay normal)

I think Q is decreased in anemia because blood can't pick up oxygen from alveoli as effective as a normal person. So V/Q is increased. Please correct me if I'm missing some concepts

Can't have a decrease in Q Q = Perfusion hypoxia from perfusion is an "absence of blood flow to alevoli i.e. pulmonary emoblis" which isn't a function of oxygen carrying (P02 or PsaO2) Anemia--> reduction in Hb concentration (normal O2 dissolved in the plasma of arterial blood, PaO2; and normal O2 saturation, Sa02)

b .. it will decrease.. in anemia the body compensate for low oxygen carrying capacity by increasing bothe the ventilation and the dyanmics of the circulation.. but the hyperdynamic circulation is more than the increase in ventilation leading to decrease in VQ ratio..
