Thank God & thanks to all well wishers, i just recieved my CK score 89/219. i studied for 5-6 months , on & off for first 3 months, then continuosly for last 3 months.i read NMS & CMDT for medicine & BP for Peds & OBG, psychiatary & biostat from Kaplan.also had older copies of kaplan videos., i used to start each topic with videos then read the same topic from book.& made some notes .i am a slow reader, i finished one reading in 4 months, but that was my best in depth reading. then subscribed UW for 2 months & did it in tutor mode.completed in around 45 days(score was 55) while simultaneously doing the 2nd reading(superficially). then remaining 15 days, did only incorrect in timed mode & made their notes.(score 64).also repeated some combined qs in high yield topics like cardio, resp, etc & also those subjects in which i scored low.(<55).Then i took NBME 1 (score530),then NBME 2 after a week(score460). i was confused about the disparity between NBME scores, so i postponed my exam for 2 weeks & studied weak subjects from NBME, it was again cardio, resp, obg, normal dev,& peds. last 3 days read those notes.(3 note books) took exam on 5th May.it was similar to UW & NBME.but i couldnt recall qs, just a blurry idea....50% int med,20%peds, 20%obg, 10% psychiatary.out of int med 25% cardio, 25% resp,10% immunology, 10% blood,10%renal & electrolytes 10% GI & endo,10% miscelaneous. .this is just a rough estimate. i used to check this forum discussions, they are helpful.i used to check the exam score thread, to compare my UW scores, but sometimes i was scared seeing most of the guys getting very high scores, then i stopped looking at those & checked only those having scores close to mine, it boosted me up, felt stronger then i decided to post my experience bcoz i think someone can boost himself/herself by reading this post.Although i dont have a great score, but at least i finished this difficult part of my life. good luck to all.

Hey Diyamirzah ! I think you did really great ! After all: one point higher, and you´d be in the 90s range as well ! I agree w/ you totally: reading scores from "Average Joes" (= people that didn´t score 95 or higher) can really help someone, that´s having second thoughts about his/her prep. So thanks for stepping up to the plate, Diyamirzah - you´re an inspiration ! GL for your following steps/residency !

I forgot to write about surgery. kaplan is the best for surgery, although the author seems dull in his lectutres but his notes are great, each line is high yield & easy to memorize. Atlease one review book is needed for last 2 weeks.i used first aid, you can use crush, secrets or other. helps to connect all subjects.
