Cervical Landmarks • Hyoid bone- located anterior to C3 Thyroid cartilage - is inferior to the hyoid in front of C4. • The cartilage is identifiable by the superior notch. "Adam's Apple"- is formed by the hyoid and the thyroid cartilage.Occiput- posterior portion of the skull. Inion - dome shaped bump at the base of the occiput, "bump of knowledge."[/left] [left]
