i was in sort of same dilemma....
from the response i got.... i went and bought the whole set....
the dvd for biochem/genetics,physio and beh sciences is must....
others r also said to b good.....

video lectures.....havnt seen em yet...but im guessing they r pretty big...but as most ppl have said...worth the time.....

the dvd is really worth watching
the notes itself is too brief, with the video u will have a better understanding
i think all the lecturers are excellent except anatomy

hello all, new at this forum thing. was wondering if anyone knows how to purchase the kaplan dvd's and also is it worth taking the center prep, if you already took the 7 wk live lecture??? PLEASE HELP!!!! thanks again

i have a friend who took the live lecture,
she said the live lecture and the dvd r almost the same.
as for the dvd, check out www.usmleforum.com classified,
there r people selling the entire step 1 for 99 bucks.

Hi,
I am new to this forum and am not sure if my question has to be put here but I am in desperate need to have an answer to my problem.I am an IMG and have bought kaplan lecture notes for Step 1.I need to know if notes are enough or we need to watch the videos along with it.Where can I buy these videos from?
Kindly advice I am in a dilemma

I have already taken step 1. I think those video will help you a lot in understanding the topics. All of them in my opinion are good, especially physiology and biochemistry. Regarding Dr. Goljan lectures, It will help a lot but kaplan DVD lectures are better.

Dr. Goljan lectures are informative and fun to listen, you will never regret it but only listen to it after you study your lecture notes very well
