Dear all,
I am wondering whether I can take UAMLE step 3 in New York. Could anyone answer the following questions for me?
1. Is Limit Permist instead of Licensure application sufficient for the purpose of USMLE step 3 taking in New York state?
2. I am not USA citizen or Greed Card holder and I am not physically in USA now. I will apply for tourist visa (B visa) later to take USMLE step 3 in USA. Am I eligible to apply for the Limit Permit in New York before I apply for visa?
Any reply will be very appreciated.

Yes, you can apply for the USMLE step 3 in NYC.
I am as well foreign medical graduate and already applied for the USMLE step 3 in NYC. You just need to go to the official website of office of the professions and apply for the medical licence like everybody else. You are eligible as much as the others.
