hi guys, just wondering whats the deal with the latest first aid....those who have the 2006 edition pls take a look at page 315 and let me know if the arrows are pointing rite? doesn't Ca bind to troponin followed by ATP binding to myosin head?..thank you

it seems right to me

http://www.sci.sdsu.edu/movies/actin_myosin_gif.h...

ca binds to troponin and thus tropomyosin slides out leaving actin exposed to bind to myosin, it's implicit that myosin has to be activated by ATP to do the cross bridge, they just don't mention it
