i am getting the chance to do an observership at a big regional uni affiliated hospital,but it dsnt particpate or offer any programs for residency.wud that help me guys anywhere besides the LORs?
also,wud it hurt a lot if it is not in the field that i may apply for.wud it give me improve my chance to get residency in the Univ the hospitalis affiliated to?

Anything is better than nothing. Ultimately it's up to you, but if there is no other opportunity in sight I would take this one.
