so it's down to the wire - and no day, no test question, no practice exam is the same as the last (some are better than others, and some or totally sucky). i've postponed this exam so many times - i'm even into my second block (so it's do or die now). the end of may is the end of this block. so i'm going to take it, God willing.

but i need a PRAYER or a MIRACLE.

sooooo - if at least someone out there can holler up to the big man upstairs for me or conjure up a magical something or other - i'd really appreciate it smiling face

.....hehehe...sorry, i'm either laughing or crying on the inside at any given moment. i just want to pass is all. i know that there are at a least a few of you out there who knows what i'm going thru - and as i pray for myself, i pray for all of to pass.

if anyone has any last minute prep-help, i would really appreciate it. thanks smiling face

the most important thing is for you to gather yourself for this battle at this moment. you have prepared to the best of your ability so it is time for you to have confidence in yourself. think positively.

just read thro all the notes you made and FA. no point reading anything fresh now. if you are done going over your notes and FA like 2x, if you have the time then you may read a topic that flashes across your mind.

it is imporant at this moment to make sure your circadian rhythm is right ie awake during the day and sleepy at night so you do not feel groggy in the first few hours of the day. am told the exam is an endurance test. towards the end you feel so tired you just want to get it over so build up your endurance to sit at a computer from 8am to 4pm. do not drink too much caffeine or water before the exam otherwise you will needa bathroom break and that is not allowed. ( someone posted having this problem midway thro a block and she could not concentrate to study....it also happened to me in med school). take energy bars so you can keep your break period short. read this post by sharvil, it is great motivation. http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/31304

i will pray for you and i wish you good luck.

so you finally had to pick a final date and have to take exam,,,

i know why you did it,,,,

i know your scared,,,,,who wouldn't be,,,,2 years of basic science, 350 questions, and a minute to answer each,,,,,,,,,,,,there are million properties to conspire your thinking, rob you of your common sense,,,

but fear got the best of you,,,,, and in your panick,,,,you turned to highly
recommended books>>kaplan, first aid, brs>>>they promised you success and good score and in return only required your silent obedient consent to pay for the cost.

well last night, i ended the silence, last night i downloaded the kaplan notes from net.

everyday ,,,,,,,many usmle takers share their experience and opinions about usmle,,,,,,and they all say that usmle scores, us clinical experince, and research are more than just words to get good residency in usa,,,, they are the only way in...

so if you have seen nothing,,,,,, if the difficulty of the usmle is unknown to you,,,,,,than i suggest that you pass your test date unmarked and cancel the test all together,,,,,,

but if you see what i see,,,,, if you feel what i feel,,,,, and if you seek as i seek,,,,,, than i ask you put all your might in these 4 days and and aim for the score that you'll never ever forget....

thank u all so very much...you can't imagine how your encouragment means the world to me. i realize now it comes down to confidence. i know i won't know everything, but hopefully i know something!

and wouldn't you believe my horoscope today:
"Be the epitome of confidence and you'll find that certain mad dogs just lie down and roll over when they cross your path. You might feel like an impostor at first, but remember that practice makes perfect."

anyway - thanks again guys...now it's just a couple more days!
