Hey guys, im posting this because i have run across a few qbank questoins that ask about the clinical use of each of these techniques. I already know about SNOW DROP but i just wanted to know if you guys had an easy break down of the clinical use for each of the techniques. Like when to use Karyotyping, when to use Northern Blotting, When to use southern etc. Thanks for any help in advance!

southern blot is used in checking for monoclonality of cells and if monoclonal, one can use that to confirm it is cancer cells.

westen blot is used for antibody detection and it is generally ised as confirmation after elisa eg HIV

sorry i dont know anything yet about the others.
