One question asked that a 30 year old man is saying things and self satisfying before bed, however when asked about it later he does not recall the events of the day before.

What could this be? Anterograde amnesia, delerium, alcohol, trauma????

alcohol mostly causes anterograde amnesia, but also causes retrograde amnesia (in Worsakoff's: both anterograde and retrograde are affected)
