hello everyone, I have some questions regarding my J1 processing. I should get my DS 2019 soon. With that I need to go to a US consulate to get my J1, either India or Canada. While I am currently in US, they told me that the current processing time for J1 visas is around 2 and 1/2 months. Is anyone here in the same position as I am? If so please let me know what is a better way of handling the situation. My residency starts on June 23rd. Also if anyone had already got his/her J1 VISA, please let me know the experiences, as in what documents to carry, what questions will be asked and do they give us a hard time, so on. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and regards. Santy
