2. increases glycogen synthesis (glycogen synthase)
3. increases glycolysis (phosphofructokinase, pyruvate dehydrogenase)

2. increases triacylglyceride synthesis insulin in skeletal muscle:

3. increases glycolysis (phosphofruktokinase, pyruvate dehydrogenase) Ragarding to the things that I wrote (you can check them out in HY histology ) Why answer C is wrong? Can someone help?

    I would say the hepatic glycolysis only occurs for a short period and the for the majority of period glycogen synthesis occurs after glucose intake. so checking blood glucose after 20 mins, u would expect that glycogen synthesis to be occuring because that is occuring most of the time after ATP is produced via glycolysis ... just a guess...this is just my logical approch..grin
