hi, what is the difference between transitional year, pre lim surgery and pre lim internal medince? does doing any of them count towards residency such as in anesthesia neuro etc? or do u have to do the first year over with their programs? thanks for your help

transitional u have the options of doing more electives and can be tailored for any speciality.. prelim surg and med are both on floors mostly with few electives.. prelim surg i believe can be used for aneas.. prelim med and transitional can be used for both..
