MI is more likely in a 4 days post-op patient with abdominal surgery !

On the other hand, it is very unlikely in real world an elderly woman 67 years old will take a bath or shower post-op 4 days by herself. If she has minimally invasive surgery, then she must be up and walking and the likelihood of P.E. is unlikely!

I was thinking the same thing. How come she's having a bath 4th day post-op and that after an abdominal surgery. I was thinking in terms of tissues still not healed completely could give way internally causing an internal bleed and syncope. Now massive internal bleed could also give a MI in this 67 yr old female. Both D and E are not Unlikely in this situation. My pick is D at the moment.

atelectasis is also possible, which is common complication after chest and abdomen surgery. atelectasis , then shock, then collapse.
