Hello all..... i've been doin q bank 4 sm time nw.'ve done arond 500 q. d av % rt now is 66.. but lil depressin.. my anat's pretty strong. my q book scores r 80 to82.. n in q bank its 65 to 66.. also they ask qs. like muscles supplied by this nerve.. its course.. do they ask such q. in d real xam?? shud i open up my first yr books ?? now that my xam's 7 weeks away... or am i jus over anxious????????  .... wat do i do?? study more? change books?? am in utter confusion.. cos a low score won't do me good.... help........

dont freak out sonali!!!! the online q bank does have quite a few picky anat q,im not sure the exam tests ur anat in that detail,atleast not my exam......u ll be wasting ur time reading first year books now....even i had q bank overall 80% but my gross anat was around 69%....wat im tryin to say is that dont u get depressed about the anat q,wat i did was when i solved these q i wud open up grant atlas of anat,see the course and just read the muscles supplied once.....believe me seeing images really sticks in ur gray matter....try to consolidate the other subjects the q are less weird....anat im sure has the weirdest q in the q bank....again in the last week just brush thru te atlas again....as for histo,cyto,embryo and neuro anat i found kaplan notes more than enuf......good luck

also try looking up some electron micrgraphs online for the histo q...try to get familiar with how the organelles look really close!!!!

I think for gross anatomy you can try road map for usmle, I don't know how good it is, but some one told me here that she got good grip in gross anatomy while doing that book. It is not very thick book but couple of pages.

hi sonaliraj
from another post of yours noticed that your exam is close.
my exam would be on July 19th, i have done 24% of Qbank so far and my score is 55%. i used to do the test along with my studying. but your score seems very good to me and i am friked out!!! you are doing a good job, so dont get depressed.
i was wondering how many times you have stuied kaplan notes and what are other material are you using beside that. have you studied Goljan too ? do you have any advice for me to help make my score higher?
