There is more likely to have a linear relationship between height and weight because dots are condensed at the middle and distributed like a line at 45 degree. therefore coefficient = 1 is most suitable.

B see a line - not equal zero direction: positive (+) when=1 it's MAX coreletion and a singl line here is something close to a line, +0.6 is close enough

ANswer is A you guys. Both A and B will have straight lines. In fact, all of them will have straight lines. Remember, it's the "average" line we are trying to draw here. THEY ARE ALL LINES. What matters is the SLOPE of the lines. If the line is a perfect 45degrees (meaning go up 1, go over 1), then it's a correlation of 1. The positive or negative signs only point at the direction in which the lines are drawn. 2nd point is how to distinguish if it's +1 or +0.60. Easy. This one goes up and goes to the right equal amount of squares. If it went up 6 but went to the right 10, then it would be 0.60 and the average line drawn would be more "flat", get it?

A.. The average line drawn through the dots would be approximately 45 degrees. 0.60 would be too 'flat' as tn1kinobe put it..and does not correspond to this graph.
