i am using the book step-up to medicine to prepare stp2 ck, i feel more comfortible to read this book than kaplan lecture notes; this book is organized better and clearer style; however, i am wondering if this book is enough for stp2 , it seems the content invloved in this book is not as wide and detailed as that in kapn notes. any suggestions and advice will be appreciated. good luck for everybody here.

'the content invloved in this book is not as wide and detailed as that in kapn notes' - I don't think so - could you provide concrete topics which are covered in 'Kaplan LN: Medicine' and not covered in 'Step-Up to Medicine'? 'Step-Up to Medicine' is much better review than 'Bluepints Medicine' or 'NMS Medicine' - still, 'you can't review what you never knew' - if you find it to be not detailed enough that's may be because you don't have good background in IM - in this case you should go to the more detailed resources, for example, 'Cecil Essentials of Medicine'.

thanx p53, the anticancer gene. so, it seems that you think step-up to medicine is good enough for preparation of stp2? actually, i do feel comfortible to read this book, though i am just a little bit worried if this book is enough, since not a lot of people mentioned this book on this forum, maybe i am too nervous. so, thanx again
