Hi All

Want to know how does hyperkalemia/hypokalemia change resting membrane potential?

Thanks

look for thread 29675 in physiology section (question named Q, on the first page, sent by nadiabarati)

ok my friend
hyperklemia(increased extracellular potassuim) will causes depolarization
hypoklemia (reduced potassium)will causes hyperpolarization

if you change the extracellular potassium concentration as shown above you will change the resting membrane potential of every cell in the body and that is not a good thing
