Hi ...........i got my CS result on 1st April........my medical school sent my verified transcript on 10 May.......If anybody has already gone through the entire process of ECFMG Certification and application for stp 3, kindly tell me how long it would take before I will get my ECFMG Certificate and then how long through the entire step 3 application process.........my visa expires in mid July and I am very disoriented and frustrated by the delay in the procedure...........they told me at ECFMG that it could take 6-8 weeks for the certification, if thats the case, I am in deep trouble............Any help is appreciated..........

my img friends got ecfmg certified in 6 weeks (it takes time to for verification of credentials)
step 3 appln process time varies. it can be done in even 3 weeks. none of this is hard and fast. dont lose hope.
you can apply for extension of visa if needed.

thank you......but that is what i m frustrated about......the length after receiving verification......anyways thank you....will keep my fingers crossed and apply for an extension
