Hey afds,
Sorry I did not see your latest post until now (it's not that I didn't want to answer)!
I am not trying to get into ENT, I'm trying for anesthesia or OB. I know one might think these three specialties are not very related, and how come my change of heart. Well, I have my reasons. I have always liked and thought of anesthesia and OB, I still like them and have a hard time choosing. I know how competitive they are, but that's what I want to do. What is one to do if the field s/he wants to get into is very competitive? Just listen to what everybody else is saying, go into a corner and start crying and give up his or her dream and go for whatever the other people are saying would be easier to get? Well, I don't think like that. I don't have a stellar application to back up this attitude, I just think that one has to fight for what one wants, and I also believe that almost anything is possible with faith and very hard work!
