18 yr man evaluated for poss immunodefeciency disease due to life long history of chronic lung infections,recurrent otitis media,and multiple episodes of bacterial meningitis.while total igG normal,pt has a selective defeciency of IgG2.Associated def of which may produce anaphylaxis on admin blood products to this pt??

Yup! Always think IgA when talking about reaction to blood products in immunodeficient patients. Because the patient has antibodies to his IgA, and when you give blood (that contains IgA) he has a reaction.
