Dear bbb,

I really appreciate all your effort you put in helping us to understand this whole Residency process. I have a question for you.

I used to call different programs to ask about their requirements for application. Most of them told me about their screening criteria: USMLE cut-off scores, US clinical experience and years from graduation. Some of them told me they look at the whole application. Is it possible not to have screening criteria when they receive hundreds of applications? It looks like swimming in the ocean!

Thank you,

Lisa
