How do you diff. central from peripheral lesions of Cn VII?
Can facial nerve palsy affect only the upper parts of face???

i think u mean UMN vs LMN, in LMN or pripheral nerve lision is complete and affect upper and lower part of the face and in UMN or say central only lower part of the face is affected by the virtue of double(bilateral) suppy to the upper part of nerve.
