Hi all, Recently I changed my name (change in Sequence) and use it as my current name (driver license, ID). I want to change my name on ECFMG record. My question is that if I request a name change, do they send me another scheduling permit (yellow card) or Can I use the old card? If any, how long does it take for a new yellow card? Please.

I think they will have to send you a new permit because your ID will have the new name whcih won't match your old one.Not sure how long it would take.It would be best to correspond with ECFMG directly regarding this.

hi if your first name and last name remain the same then you are ok and it is not regarded as a name change but if your first name is now your last name then that is a name change and they will need to give you a separate orange slip. i do not think that will take time but you will need to submit teh specified documents for this. best to phone them and talk to them. you will probably wait between 5 to 10 mins before it is your turn so factor that in when you call. GL.
