hi everybody
i am new to this forum and iwant to apply for step 1 online.do i need a printer at the end of application,
and i changed my last name when i got married,do ineed a seperate form for that.

Hi annieo5, yes you will need a printer at the end of the online application so that you can print all the forms (186, 344, 345, 182), once you start the online application there is a section where they tell you that if the name you put in your ECFMG application doesn't match EXACTLY the name in your medical diploma you should request a name change or also if the name in your medical diploma doesn't match EXACTLY the name in your photo ID card that you are going to use when you take the exam you need to send them the appropiate legal documentation and official translation of the papers (if not english), you can read more details about this on the ECFMG Booklet that you can download for free at the ecfmg.org web page.
