Aimhigh, 3535, chickimi: Thanks a lot, I never thought I'd say this but, I'm starting to considering all you people lika big family, you know, everybody looking after each other... so nice to know that you actually are interested in how are the rest doing and cheering up. My most sincere thanks ! I not sure what is happening to me these days... I'm feeling like sh*t. Jus can't concentrate, and that generates anxiety due to the fact that the time is clicking... is like a positive feedback. I used to control my mood easily, but the last couple of days it has been terrible. I don't remember passing like this during step 1... I mean, is it normal??... I'm so so sorry, don't want to show negative feeling at all, is not a good time for that... You know what... Screw all!!!! I don't really know what is going on, but I don't give a rat's butt any longer... Today was unforgivable wasted but tomorrow I'm gonna kick the dirt out of Qbank... Only 2 more weeks, that's all, I'm gonna repress everything concerning the match application and gonna focus on CK... for good... > Dudes, you all are doing awsome, actually I look at you every time I need a booster to do the last 50 questions of the day...And being so close to armagedon for docs, I'd like to say what Dr.Daugherty says about the last week before the exam...IT'S NOT TIME TO LEARN NEW THINGS, IT'S TIME TO REVIEW WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW AND REINFORCE YOUR MEMORY. DECIDE WHAT YOU DEFINITIVELY DON'T KNOW AND RELAX... YOU'LL DO FINE.

If its any consolation Isther...I've felt exactly the same way these past few days!!I honestly think its an epidemic of some sort. But fight we must....we'll just have to chuck out all the negativity and focus.Easy to intellectualise...I know...but thats what we have to do.Heres to real productive days till the time each of us takes the exam!

Thanks cyra, your words surely are helpful, and you're right... fight we must... young jedi master ... fight we must! Today was a good day, I did some blocks of UW, and scored 82%, not sure if will be worth it to do UW all over again. Watched some cardio videos and finished obst chapter of FA. 100 MCQ's from Qbank to end the day (tryed to do 150 but my place was too noisy) and scored 84 and 66. I'll try to improve the pace tomorrow... and BTW I passes CS (YEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!) but no party until the score of CK is on my hand.

dr2002 (viky): well, the more you read or practice questions better chance to have an over 90 score, so UW is good but better is you can do others. The recipe for success as many had posted is Kaplan notes + UW... can complement with another book but try to base your study in one source. Take care!

Goody, Goody... nice the sense of satisfaction when you fulfilled your day's goals. Review yesterday's questions, finished Gyn chapter of FA, and did 3 blocks of Qbank (76, 70, 80). I'm tired and my butt and legs hurt from being sitted all day, so I'm going to the gym and then watch a good movie... I deserve it. 12 days for the CK... this time is for good, no more changes..

Today was kinda slow... did 100 q (70, 76), watched 1 hour endocrinology lecture, and continue with the musculoskeletal chapter of FA, a lot of questions so far are about that chapter... feeling pretty ok, and quite optimistic about my probabilities to obtain a respectable score... 10 days left...

Hello... the pace is fluctuating but still moving... did another 150 from qbank... 76, 70, and 60 (ouch!!!). FA is tedious but have to admit that its mnemonics are helpfull. Almost done with endocrino lectures... Had some time so did one block from UW and got a 80, seems that still haven't forget the lesson... This evening I went to a Kaplan free event, about how to obtain a residency in the match... it was good, unfortunately nothing was new or that is not posted here... but hey, I'm very aware now of all kaplan's combos and sales for this season... 8 days left... just 8 more days...

Hi LisaM, thanks, and yes the movie was nice... was a lot of a tribute to Christopher Reeve. BTW there was a singer called LisaM some time ago that was very famous in South America...heard of her? Today... review wednesday´s questions (yesterday was day off thanks to IT), read muskuloeskeletal chapter from FA (freakin´ book... just can´t speed up with it), started pulmonology lectures, and did 100 questions (70, 70). Feeling calmed, yesterday was very anxious but today I realized that this is it, I did what I could, may be could have done better but a lot of "what if" won´t help right now. Did my part at my rythm and my capacity... I tryed. Don´t know what I deserve as a score but will accept whatever outcome... its my karma. 5 days to the exam...

What an easy day... review yesterday's asnwers and spent the rest of the day with lectures... from 11 am till now... tomorrow will do a simulator (just to aggravate my IBS) and will relax in my final days of ECFMG certification process... One year ago, in a day just like today, I was reading the ECFMG pamphlet wondering if I could do all of this... with 2 months from beggining the matching precess, I realize that with the proper motivation and support you really can change and become a better person. I have no idea where I will match (or if I will at all), but I learned so much in these months of study that no matter what happens tomorrow... today I am a better physician. 4 days to the exam...
