Hi, I´m 35. Clinical experience: graduation 1997 and finished general intership in 1999 and hematology residency in 2006. I´d like to apply for a residency/fellowship in Us but haven´t go the idea about my chances. I was thinking to take step 1 and 2 in 2007 but by the time to apply I´ll be 37. Is it to late to start a IM residency and after 3 y a fellowship in H-Oncology? Will I have any chances of being accepted? Is anyone in a similar situation? Is it necessary to have US experience to be admited in a good Hematol-Oncology programme? Would be an advantage to have some research work done in US in this field? Thanks for your time.
