46. A full-term 1-week-old male neonate with a craniofacial deformity and pulmonary hypoplasia has not produced urine. Labor and delivery were uncomplicated. His mother has hypertension and took various promotional samples of antihypertensive medications throughout the pregnancy. Which of the following antihypertensive drugs most likely caused the abnormality?

A ) Atenolol

B ) Diltiazem

C ) Enalapril

D ) Hydrochlorothiazide

E ) Methyldopa

F ) Verapamil

I go with C Enalapril… NO ACE-Inhibitors during pregnancy.

Which antihypertensives ARE SAFE during pregnancy?
