Hello Everyone!
I was just wondering about the preliminary position in surgery. Is it easier to get a preliminarty position compared to a regular residency for an IMG without USCE and US LORs? After the preliminary year would it be easier to get a residency if you get strong LORs? Or does applying for preliminary position mean underselling/underestimating onself?
I am in the process of gathering information and I would appriciate if you guys could assisst me.
