Thanks a lot for your reply. I thouhgt the markers or tips the preowner made on used books could be very useful for me also. But I decide to buy new ones now. I read your posters on other threads which are quite helpful.

it isn't used book - it's a new one - www.amazon.com has discounts for some new books - it's discounted not because it's used - so you will not find the markers or tips of the preowner. If you don't believe me, see 2006 edition of the same book - it wasn't released yet, but already is discounted - costs the same $28.32:
