for Genetics:

Medical Genetics
Jorde, 3rd ed. 2005. 384p.

for both Biochemistry and Genetics:

Kaplan Lecture Notes: Biochemistry

KAPLAN ......KAPLAN ......KAPLAN....KAPLAN notes,do it well,more than enuf for biochem,molecular bio and genetics in my opinion for the exam

i'm also very weak in biochem...but i've read through lippincott's biochemsitry...it's waaaay to overdetailed and kaplan is just enough



so stick with kaplan, don't waste precious time

yes, kaplan is respectable in this subject. (in my opinion its probably their strongest subject)

I m not imposing my opinion on others but I liked to do the biochemistry in the following way.
Molecular biology HY by Dudek very nice concise book.
Biochemistry part frm Kaplan
Genetics from Kaplan and Rapid review series Pthology chapter on gentics.
i hope that it will help u, as the metarial is conise but nicely written.
