my scores in UW hit 60's for the first time...god help me not to fall below this...now has to do expln's
plan is to complete rest of IM n peds by this weekend. Goal is to improve cumulative scores in UW.

i started cardiology today,finished IHD,feeling very tired now,planing to wakeup at night to do hematology ,have few doubts ,Is male sex a risk factor fro Corornary artery disease? diltiazem reduces recurrence of subendocardial infarct?
IS CABG used in angina only?
when is catheetrization done after ASA,BB,Nitrates? GL with ur study nithu.

I think CABG for CAD , mainly if u have 3 vessel disease.More effective in diabetic patients .Catheterisation , will help u to identify the type of disease whether it is triple disease- more for diagnostic purpose.ASA, bbb, are for longterm benefits, improve the survival after an acute MI.This is what i understood, any inputs always welcome.Risk factor CAD - females have a cardioprotective effect from estrogen so men have more chance.I am not sure about diltiazem.

I think i am going to finish my 3rd reading by 31st and then do qbook, 2nd time UW plus revision of UW notes.Plan is to take NBME1 BY AUG 15TH.

started my final revision.
I have decided to put in max effort, no more distractions.
Finished reading rhemat and psychia- epidemiology + statistics.Now its 7.30 pm here.
Rest of the day my plan is to do the 2nd time UW- incorrected qs in timed mode, 2 blocks everyday.
Need to review UW notes of rheumat & psych
Hope i can finish todays target.
