Hey everybody... i have been a silent visitor of this forum but i decided to post today because i finally know that i passed step 1 (Oasis trick)... I want to share with u my experience.... first of all i'm an IMG, graduated in 2005... I start my studying with FA and Kaplan Notes in august 2005, in the middle of that month my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor, it was really devastating and i quit my studying.... we went to houston, he had an operation, and the prognosis was very very bad... so as u can imagine it was a very difficult situation... as things were getting a bit normal in my house i decided to start studying again in january 2006... i read all the Kaplan notes once, FA once , Goljan audio, qbank (3 weeks), nbme 1 (520)... i still dont know my actual score of step 1, i took it march 31st and was reported april 26, i did the oasis trick and it says that i passed step 1... anyway at this point of my life and what my family and i are going true i really dont care much about the score, since i have more important stuff in my head right know.....but i really thank GOD for helping me and to share this happiness with my dad, my mom and my brother and sister!!!! So guys if I could pass it with the help of GOD..... i bet most of you are going to do just fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to everybody... and always pray before any exam!!!!

Congratulations drguate. To be honest with you, you just made my day. I am taking my exam next week and was feeling overwhelmed and just down on my luck. But reading your post I realize that everything is in God's hands. I am going to do all I can and just pray and leave it up to Him. God helps everyone and I will definately say a prayer for your father and once again Congratulations.

Hey everybody!! Thanks for all your responses!!! God bless u all!!!!! Finally my score has arrived.... and i'm the happiest man on earth..... I want to share this joy with you guys, all of us that are in th same pathway... my score is 217/88..... i feel good... and again THANKS TO GOD!!! To all of you.... Leave all your worries and trouble in God hands... He is always with you...always....no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ameen...U really deserve a score like this.After going through what you had, and still gaining this score,it reflects your determination.May allah be with you and make this path easy for you.I will pray for your father.
I went through a load of emotional stress before my exam,and I was at the verge of a breakdown, all those time I just prayed to HIM and I passed.Now I am ready to prepare myself for step 2.
Again, be strong , and never forget to pray.May he showered you with his blessings.Ameen.
