my opinion about 'Blueprints': 'Obstetrics & Gynecology' - the best one among 'Blueprints'; highly recommended. 'Pediatrics' - excellent. 'Neurology' - very good, especially because neurology in Kaplan LN is poorly written and not enough. 'Psychiatry' - good, but may be not enough. 'Emergency Medicine' - so-so, too detailed for review. 'Medicine' - bad; absolutely not enough; with glaring omissions of many high yield topics (try to find, for example, even word about cardiomyopathies in it). instead for IM I recommend: Step-up to Medicine Agabegi, 2004, 512p. ISBN: 0781747872 'Surgery' - the worst book among 'blueprints' - total waste of time, money and paper; avoid.

Pediatrics is very good. Psychiatry well if you read for Step 1 this BP should be enough. Medicine needs mor information. Surgery- Not enough info. I do not know of anyother reviews. See BRS. For the other subjects I used BRS Gyn/obs and CMDT. Step 2 Crush and Kaplan notes. Good luck!

For psychiatry I'll still recommend 'Blueprints psychiatry'. It's much better than 'High-Yield psychiatry' - I think there is not enough info in Dr. Fadem's book. If you have enough time and need much more detailed source, you can get 'BRS Psychiatry', by Shaner, 2000, 448p. I guess Dr. Shaner is also the author of 'Kaplan LN: Psychiatry'. For Emergency Medicine you can try 'First Aid for the Emergency Medicine Clerkship', by Stead, 2006, 416p. - it's too detailed though. For surgery - I don't know - personally I'm reading 'NMS Surgery', 2000, 700p. but it's too big.
