This patient has Cleft lip and cleft palate
Left lip is caused by failure to fuse between maxillary prominence and medial nasal prominence.
Left palate is caused failure to fuse each other between 2 maxillary prominences.

Yes, thats right. Correct answer is D.
Choice B leads to cleft palate, and
Choice D leads to cleft lip.
Since this baby has BOTH, why is it D rather than B?
I feel there should be a choice that says: Both B and D.
